hey could you help me out, i tried making animations with paint tool sai, cuz im lol... too poor to get flash. and you seem kinda pro at this so just wanna hear from your point of view. do you think paint tool sai is any good for fluent animations with sound.
is it

slower?
less fluent?
harder to animate with?
just wanna know, thanks! ^_^

I.. Actually had no idea that paint tool sai had an animation program! So I really can't say anything about it's abilities ;;

There are a few programs you may wanna look into that are cheaper than Flash:
Tv Paint
FlipBook
(ahh I forgot the third one)

TvPaint is especially nice because of it's brush tools which are similar to those you'd find in PS or Sai. Flash's brushes are all vectored and are kind of a pain in the ass to deal with unless you're used to it.

lol paint tool sai doesnt have an animation program... i turn the opacity down on each new layer and save each layer seperately... i wish it had an animation program :/
lol thanks :D funny thing, i was doing research and i found tv paint like 5 minutes after you sent the message, but ill definately check out flipbook thanks! ^_^
